Playhouse Creche, Salt River
DLK Group hosted a charity golf day and raised R50,000.00 for the Playhouse Creche in Salt River. Playhouse creche is run by the Catholic Welfare and Development (CWD) – taking care of children between the ages of 4 and 5. The creche provides breakfast and lunch for the children as well as preparing them for Grade 1.
Leon Hendricks has a passion for providing children with opportunities to learn, grow and play in a safe environment. The donation would be used to build a library and playground for the children at Playhouse creche. DLK Group was happy to contribute toward this project run by Catholic Welfare and Development, as part of their Women in Need (WIN) initiative.

Economic Empowerment
The WIN programme is an initiative of Catholic Welfare and Development (CWD).Women In Need (WIN), undertakes to assist destitute, homeless women and their children, by providing appropriate intervention to facilitate their personal, emotional, economic, educational and social development.
